Free previews carry a "Painted Zodiac" watermark; the print or file you buy does not. ## What makes it different Every sign is anchored to two verifiable things and both are shown on the product page: a dated historical plate (Bayer's Uranometria, Hevelius' Firmamentum, Urania's Mirror, the Très Riches Heures) and a real star — its Bayer/Flamsteed designation and apparent magnitude from Hipparcos. Nothing on a product page is invented. The new paintings deliberately keep the old plates' iconography: the ram's turned head, Capricorn's goat-fore and fish-tail, Virgo holding the wheat-ear Spica.
